Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to services provided by DetentLabs, Inc. ("SafeClick") and our website (the "Site"), web and mobile applications, and other digital products that link to or reference this Policy (collectively, the "Services"). This Policy explains what information we collect from users of our Services ("user," "you," or "your"), including information that may be used to personally identify you ("Personal Information"), and how we use it.
SafeClick does not sell your data. We encourage you to read the details below. This Policy applies to any visitor to or user of our Services. Any capitalized terms used herein but not defined shall have the meaning set forth in our Terms of Service, available at https://safeclick.dev/terms-of-service.
We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting a new Policy to this page and/or by sending notice to the primary email address specified in your account. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address, and for periodically reviewing this Policy. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of our Services after we publish or send notice about changes means that the collection, use, and sharing of your Personal Information is subject to the updated Policy.
Scope and Applicability
This Policy applies to your information when you visit our website or otherwise use the Services, including when you submit URLs, wallet addresses, or blockchain transaction hashes for security analysis. This Policy does not apply to third-party applications, services, or websites that you may access through our Services. Those third parties have their own privacy policies.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide to Us
- Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, name (if provided), and password. We may also collect profile information you choose to provide.
- Scan and Analysis Data. When you use the Services, you submit URLs, wallet addresses, blockchain transaction hashes, and other data for security analysis. We collect and process this information to perform Threat Analysis and deliver results to you.
- Communications. When you contact us for support or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the content of your messages and any contact information you provide.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit and use the Services, we may collect:
- Log Data. Information your browser automatically sends, including your IP address, browser type and settings, date and time of your request, and how you interacted with our website.
- Usage Data. Information about your use of the Services, including features used, actions taken, time zone, country, dates and times of access, device type, and similar technical information.
- Device Information. Name of the device, operating system, and browser you are using.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Authentication Providers. If you sign up or log in using a third-party provider (e.g., Google, Firebase Auth), we receive authentication information provided by that provider to enable your login.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including Threat Analysis
- To deliver analysis results and respond to your scan requests
- To send confirmations, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages
- To respond to your comments and questions and provide customer service
- To analyze how you use the Services to improve functionality and user experience
- To maintain the security of the Services and protect against fraudulent or unauthorized activity
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to legal process
- To create aggregate or de-identified data that cannot be used to identify you
3. AI and Threat Detection Data Usage
SafeClick uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to perform Threat Analysis on URLs, wallet addresses, and blockchain transactions. When you submit data for analysis:
- Processing. Your submitted URLs, wallet addresses, transaction hashes, and related context are processed by our AI systems to generate threat assessments and risk scores.
- Purpose. This data is used to provide you with security analysis results and to operate and secure the Services. We may retain validated indicators of malicious activity derived from analysis (for example, an address, contract, or signature pattern confirmed as malicious) to improve detection across the SafeClick network; these indicators do not include your identity, workflow, volumes, or confidential business context. We do not use the raw data you submit to train machine-learning models unless you have agreed to that use in writing. We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to providing the Services.
- Best-Effort Disclaimer. Threat Analysis is provided on a best-effort basis. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all threats will be detected. You should exercise your own judgment when interacting with URLs, blockchain addresses, and transactions.
- No Sale. We do not sell your Personal Information or data submitted for analysis to third parties for their marketing or other purposes.
4. How We Share Your Information
We may disclose Personal Information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers. With third parties that perform services to support our business, including hosting (e.g., Firebase), analytics, security, and customer support providers. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
- Threat-Intelligence Providers and Other Customers. We may use third-party transaction-risk (KYT) and threat-intelligence providers to analyze submitted addresses and transactions, and we may share validated indicators of malicious activity, without your identity or business context, across the SafeClick network to improve detection for all customers.
- Legal Compliance. If required or permitted by applicable law, including in response to lawful requests from law enforcement or public authorities, or to enforce our Terms of Service or protect our rights, property, or safety.
- Business Transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to the acquirer's agreement to honor this Policy.
We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties.
5. Cookie and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to enable our servers to recognize your browser and to improve your experience. The following describes how we use different categories of cookies:

6. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or destruction. We implement industry-standard measures including encryption in transit and at rest. Scan results and account data are stored securely using Firebase and are accessible only to you and as necessary for us to provide the Services.
Your account is protected by your password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for logging out after each use. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your Personal Information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Services to you. This includes data you provide and data generated from your use of the Services. We may retain information in de-identified or aggregated form, in backup copies as required for disaster recovery, or as required by law. We may retain an archived copy of your records for legitimate business purposes or legal compliance.
Enterprise Evaluation data. Where you use the Services under a written evaluation agreement with us, raw data submitted during the evaluation is retained for the evaluation period and for thirty (30) days after it ends, for final review and dispute handling, and is then deleted from our active systems except as described in that agreement. Validated malicious indicators and aggregated or de-identified statistics may be retained as described in Section 3. Copies in backups are deleted on the normal backup rotation schedule.
8. Your Rights
You may request to review, update, correct, or delete Personal Information associated with your account by contacting us at support@safeclick.dev or through your account settings.
We may need to verify your identity before processing such requests. We will comply with requests in a reasonably timely manner. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your Personal Information as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to retention for legal or backup purposes.
If you wish to stop receiving marketing communications, you may follow opt-out instructions in those communications or update your preferences in your account.
9. Region-Specific Disclosures
9.1 California Residents
We currently do not share Personal Information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes, as contemplated by California Civil Code Section 1798.83, without your consent.
9.2 Nevada Residents
If you are a Nevada resident, you have the right to opt out of the sale of certain Personal Information. You can exercise this right by contacting us at support@safeclick.dev with the subject line "Nevada Do Not Sell Request." We do not currently sell your Personal Information as defined under Nevada law.
9.3 Users Outside the United States
SafeClick is based in the United States. The Services are controlled and operated from the United States. Your Personal Information may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where we have facilities or service providers. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules.
9.4 European Residents
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights including: access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We process your information on the basis of our legitimate interests, performance of our agreement with you, or your consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@safeclick.dev.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of sixteen (16), and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected Personal Information from a child under 16, please contact us immediately at support@safeclick.dev and we will delete such information.
